We provide local forecasts through Facebook, Messenger, and our weather blog. However, our reach extends beyond these platforms. We contribute data to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for nationwide weather forecasting. Additionally, we actively research weather-related data.

Prior to and following significant weather events, we analyze our forecasts to identify areas for improvement. This includes evaluating our communication strategies during these events. By doing so, we strive to enhance our forecasting capabilities and provide more accurate information in the future.

Furthermore, we closely monitor severe weather systems impacting other regions to gain insights into their interactions with the atmosphere. This knowledge enables us to better prepare for and respond to severe weather events in Alabama.

We remain committed to continuous learning and improvement to deliver the most reliable weather forecasting possible.
